Get Off My Back
Those of you I’m writing this for know who you are. (Not you Lance!)
I’m sick of people telling me to “snap out of it.” I bared my soul to this man and invested every bit of myself in that relationship for six months.
I’m sorry people. I can’t “snap out of it.” I loved him (at least who I thought he was), and no matter how big of a jerk he was or how big of a fool I was, this is going to take some time for me to get over. I’m not through mourning and obviously I’m not through hurting.
For those of you who can turn things like that on and off like a lamp, my hat is off to you. I’m not like that and I never will be. If you can’t be understanding of me right now, I’d rather you just left me alone.

When we were kids we used to call it a pile on, we used to jump on one person while they were down, until they could not breath. I think that happens with advice it piles on and we cannot breath again just like the pile on when we were kids.

Girl, the saying is that you have half the time to get over it that you were in it.
That means you have three months to do just as you please…..and you should. We get past things when we are ready to, and not a minute more.
Here’s hoping something wonderful comes your way
Until then, you can say it, cry over it, curse it, eat chocolate and mexican food and tell your girlfriends over and over again about the misgivings and they have to listen. It helps to get it out that way! Trust me
You know I KNOW
